Wolastoq Wharf, nestled at 527 Union St in Fredericton, NB, stands out as a celebrated seafood haven. Patrons rave about the exceptional service and the warm, welcoming atmosphere cultivated by Adam and his attentive team. Each review highlights the generous portions and outstanding flavors, making every meal memorable.
Whether indulging in their famous lobster or enjoying delightful appetizers, guests consistently praise the quality and freshness of the ingredients. Laura Lafleur notes the divine bannock with butter and molasses, while Todd's choice of mussels and seafood fettuccine illustrates the restaurant's commitment to flavor and presentation.
The ambiance strikes a balance between classic and casual, allowing diners to feel at home without the need for formal attire. However, it's wise to make reservations, as many have been turned away when arriving without one. Christian Saager's recommendation to savor the delectable cakes for dessert further illustrates the dining experience at Wolastoq Wharf.

This restaurant is the BEST! Adam and his team are wonderful people who excel in service and in welcoming people with their warm, genuine personalities. The food is exceptional and the portions are very generous. When I visit Fredericton, I always make a point of having lunch and dinner there as often as I can reserve a table. Adam, thank you for being you! You are an amazing human being!

Steak was alittle over done from med rare. But definitely gotta say was very tasty, soft, and moist. Not dried out. Service was quick, greeted neatly. Were both happy. Left full. When we come back to visit from sask. We will definitely come back

While visiting a friend in New Brunswick we were fortunate to be treated to an amazing meal here. The staff are so pleasant and obviously happy to be there. Service was attentive and informative. Ambiance is classic yet there isn’t a need to dress up which we appreciate. The free bannock with butter and molasses is divine. The food was hot, fresh and simply outstanding! The flavour, quantity and presentation was spot on. The menu is extensive and would be appropriate for all tastes. We would need to visit at least a dozen times to try all the dishes that appealed to us. We absolutely loved our meals and will return when back in the area. One tip, make reservations because otherwise you may be disappointed. Several groups came in when we were dining and none could be accommodated. That speaks volumes in my opinion.

Away from downtown but worth the drive, cool vibe with a great menu. I had the mussels with cream to start and the seafood fettuccine for main. Seafood was amazing, fresh and flavourful. Special call out to Keisha, amazing server who was friendly, really cool and added to the experience. Will be back...

While visiting the area, I asked my hotel for a good seafood restaurant, and they recommended Wolastoq Wharf. I’m glad they did! I was seated right away, and my server was fantastic—friendly, helpful, and full of great recommendations. I started with the calamari and had the Lobster Haddock for my main course—both were absolutely delicious. Water and fresh bread were brought out as I arrived, which was a nice touch. The atmosphere is cozy but well laid out, with beautiful artwork, a bright and clean interior, and even a lovely patio space outside. The food was full of flavor, served in generous portions, and priced very reasonably. This restaurant truly exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended! I’d suggest making a reservation if you’re planning to go—it’s clearly a popular spot for good reason. UPDATE: I enjoyed it so much the first time and decided to come back for a second visit. The second time was even better! This is a MUST try restaurant when visiting the area.

If you haven't tried Wolastoq Warf yet, do it! This little gem has quickly become our favorite spot for amazing seafood. The pictures don't even come close to representing how delicious the food is here. We have gotten different dishes everytime and are always satisfied. Quality is amazing, staff are always friendly, and attentive. The deserts are so well presented and taste even better ( try the carrot cake, you'll thank me later)
